Tank Bottom Flatness — 3D Laser Scanning
- Year
- 2026
- Location
- Bulgaria
- Our role
- 3D laser scanning of the bottom and of the whole tank, flatness and deformation analysis, report for the client.
- 3D laser scanning of the bottom only or of the whole tank from the inside; the bottom is separated automatically from the shell and roof.
- 25 mm cell grid — the elevation of each cell is the mean of dozens of points, accuracy per cell better than 1 mm.
- Δh — the difference between the highest and lowest point, against the design cone or slope where needed.
- Virtual straightedge of 0.5, 1 and 2 m in four directions — local dents and bulges (DIN 18202, the logic of API 653 Annex B).
- Deviation map, profiles through the centre and a 3D view of the deformations.
Deliverables: report in PDF and Word, contours in DXF and a table of all cells in CSV.
